Finding the Right Driver

Visit the HP Support website at support.hp.com and enter your printer model number. Select your operating system from the dropdown menu and download the recommended driver package.

Windows Driver Installation

Download the driver package and run the installer. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation. When asked, select your connection type, either USB or network, and the installer will configure the printer automatically.

Mac Driver Installation

On macOS, many HP printers are supported natively. Open System Preferences, go to Printers and Scanners, and click the plus button. If your printer appears in the list, select it and macOS will download the appropriate driver. For models not natively supported, download the driver from the HP website.

Updating Existing Drivers

If your printer is already installed but experiencing issues, try updating the driver. Remove the existing printer from your system, download the latest driver from the manufacturer's website, and reinstall.
